The Devika Dementia C.I.C currently have eleven Dementia Day Services available for people living with Dementia in the community.  Our aim is to improve well-being through engaging activities and socialisation and help people remain living at home for as long as possible. This service also provides carers with five hours of much needed respite.

We run our Dementia Day Services in six different locations across East Anglia (Peterborough, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Spalding, Thrapston and Tallington), from 10-3pm. We provide stimulating activities to suit each attendees preferences & capabilities, within a safe & welcoming environment. We do not provide transport unfortunately, but we do provide a lunch of sandwiches, crisps & cake, plus all refreshments, fruit & biscuits throughout the day.

Our sessions focus on improving all aspects of our attendees well-being through mentally & physically stimulating activities, music and companionship. We provide one Day Centre Assistant for every 3 people that attend (depending on the needs of the group), plus volunteers from time to time to ensure everyone's needs are met and most importantly, everyone is safe and enjoys themselves!

From the minute that our attendees arrive, we are immersed in their world. They are encouraged to express themselves freely and just be themselves, as they are surrounded by people that truly understand.
